Volunteer Work Program
This role supports LifeRoute, a public-serving, non-therapeutic, evidence-informed digital life-skills training platform. Volunteers do not provide therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment.
Position Summary
Volunteer Quality Assurance & Compliance Technicians actively support platform operations through structured system engagement and usability verification. Volunteers perform defined, supervised tasks that require real interaction with the platform and are tracked through secure backend systems. Passive activity or idle login time does not qualify as work.
This is strictly an unpaid volunteer role and does not create an employer-employee relationship.
Key Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers are assigned specific platform sections and are required to:
Log in using assigned, role-restricted credentials
Navigate designated LifeRoute platform sections
Confirm functionality, accessibility, and usability
Identify and document errors, broken links, or technical issues
Generate verifiable activity through real system use
Follow weekly and monthly assignment rotations
Comply with all access controls and supervision requirements
Volunteers may not self-assign tasks or access unauthorized areas of the system.
Work Schedule & Hour Requirements
To align with SNAP work standards, volunteers must complete:
A minimum of 20 active hours per week
A minimum of 80 active hours per month
Only active, documented system interaction time qualifies. Idle time, unattended sessions, or partial completion do not count. If the full 80 hours are not completed, documentation will not be signed and verification will not be issued.
Time Tracking & Documentation
All volunteer activity is tracked through a secure backend system, including:
Login and logout timestamps
Active interaction time
Pages and URLs accessed
Section activity
User ID and IP/device identifiers
Each volunteer receives a User Activity & Active Time Report showing weekly and monthly totals, compliance status, and activity history. Reports can be exported as PDFs for SNAP verification.
Verification & SNAP Confirmation
Upon successful completion of required hours:
Activity logs are reviewed
Compliance is confirmed
Documentation is signed by authorized Foundation personnel
Signed verification is emailed to the participant
SNAP agencies may contact the Foundation directly to confirm participation, hours, or documentation. All verification is supported by audit-ready backend records.
Compensation & Employment Status
This is 100% unpaid volunteer service
No wages, stipends, tips, gift cards, reimbursements, or incentives are provided
No promises of employment are made
No money is ever exchanged — no exceptions
Participation does not establish an employer-employee relationship.
Fraud Prevention & Enforcement
The program includes strict safeguards such as system-generated activity logs, timestamped approvals, IP verification, and audit trails. Forged or altered documentation is identifiable and rejected. If fraud occurs, verification is denied and SNAP may take enforcement action.
Eligibility & Intake Process
To begin participation:
Participant emails workprogram@mychscare.com
Required information is requested and reviewed
Approval is determined (not guaranteed)
Only approved participants receive login credentials and assigned work. No hours may be logged before approval.
