Health & Wellness Coach Opportunities

As a Health & Wellness Coach, you will play a key role in transforming lives by offering personalized guidance, support, and education to clients looking to improve their overall well-being.

In this role, you will create tailored wellness plans that address each client's unique health needs, focusing on mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Your support will include helping clients manage stress, develop healthier eating habits, adopt fitness routines, and implement lifestyle changes that align with their personal wellness goals. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including veterans, seniors, and underserved communities, offering compassionate, hands-on support to help them overcome health challenges and lead healthier, more balanced lives.

Our telehealth platform gives you the flexibility to connect with clients remotely, ensuring that wellness services are accessible to those who need them most. You will have the opportunity to work with clients across the country, providing one-on-one coaching sessions, group wellness workshops, and ongoing support through regular check-ins. Your work will directly contribute to improving the quality of life for clients by helping them achieve sustainable, long-term health improvements.

Qualifications:

• Must have a National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Must qualify to be enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid
• Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs
• Knowledge and experience in telehealth technology to effectively deliver remote services

In addition to these qualifications, the following are highly beneficial for the role:

• Certification in Health & Wellness Coaching:
  A recognized certification, such as from the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) or similar, demonstrating expertise in wellness coaching.
• Background in Health Sciences or Related Fields:
  A degree in a health-related field such as nutrition, exercise science, psychology, or public health is often valuable.
• Experience in Telehealth Services:
  Prior experience delivering coaching or wellness services through telehealth platforms can be beneficial, ensuring comfort with remote care.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
  The ability to effectively communicate with clients, both verbally and in writing, is critical to providing guidance and support.
• Knowledge of Holistic Wellness Practices:
  Familiarity with integrative approaches to health, including nutrition, exercise, stress management, and mental health support.
• Experience with Behavior Change Strategies:
  The ability to help clients set realistic goals and develop sustainable, healthy habits through motivational interviewing or other behavior change techniques.
• CPR/AED Certification:
  Some wellness programs may require this certification as an additional safety measure when working with clients.
• Computer Literacy:
  Comfort with using telehealth software, tracking client progress digitally, and maintaining organized client records is essential.
• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:
  The ability to assess client needs and provide creative, individualized solutions to wellness challenges.
• Professional Liability Insurance:
  In some cases, coaches may be required to carry liability insurance as an added layer of protection for both the coach and the organization.
